She filled my life with joy with her precious little face
Now she's filling my life with sorrow with her little white wings
Yesterday, there she was without a care in the world
Today, she's been invited to the sky with her little white wings
I pray that the sky will take her in like I did many years ago
I just wish I didn't have to tell Heaven how my Rosy takes her food
I want to tell the sky 'She's not ready! She still has time down here.'
But alas, the damage is done, and no vet can change that
She made me laugh with the funny looks she gave me
Now she's making me cry with her little white wings
It's just too soon to be using the past tense with her…

Wow... This is melancholy and beautiful. My favorite lines:
I pray that the sky will take her in like I did many years ago
I just wish I didn't have to tell Heaven how my Rosy takes her food.
This is wonderful, and I'm so sorry for your loss. Rosy sounds like a wonderful cat, and I know that she's in Heaven now, watching over you.
